Amendment #555 to H4000

Jumpstart

Mr. O'Day of West Boylston moves to amend the bill in section 2 in item 3000-1000, by inserting at the end thereof the following "; provided further, that not less than $300,000 shall be expended to Jumpstart for Young Children, Inc. to provide support to evidence-based early childhood education programs that promote language, literacy, and social emotional skill development for preschool children from under-served communities in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts" and in said item by striking the figures "$6,394,823" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$6,694,823"
