Amendment #616 to H4000
Fire Department Training Academies and HazMat Response Teams
Mr. Biele of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 8324-0000, by inserting after the words “under chapter 21K of the General Laws” the following:-
“provided further, fire department training academies listed in item 8324-0000 of section 2 of chapter 182 of the acts of 2008 shall be allocated to each program in fiscal year 2022; provided further, that the amount allocated for hazardous material response teams in said item 8324-0000 of said section 2 of said chapter 182 shall be allocated to each program in fiscal year 2022; provided further that in addition to the allocation listed in item 8324-0000 of section 2 of chapter 182 of the acts of 2008, the Boston Fire Department Training Academy shall be allocated an additional $500,000”.
