Study on the effects of the COVID-19 Vaccines on people exposed to PFAS

Mr. Pease of Westfield Moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2250-2000, by adding the following: “; provided further that not less than $250,000 be expended to establish and conduct a study by UMASS Amherst on the effects of the COVID-19 Vaccines on people exposed to PFAS”. PFAS exposure has been linked to: reductions in antibody response and disease resistance; and increases in airway hypersensitivity, asthma, and risk of autoimmune disease.
