Amendment #709 to H4000

Lowell Advanced Manufacturing Partnership

Mr. Golden of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7008-1116, in line 1, by inserting after the word "projects" the following: provided further, "that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for FORGE to promote manufacturing and innovation in the Merrimack Valley through an office in Lowell, in connection with the University of Massachusetts Lowell, by supporting startup manufacturing readiness and connecting them to Massachusetts-based manufacturers"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$100,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$200,000"
