Bay Path University "Boot Camp" for College Readiness

Representatives Ashe of Longmeadow and Puppolo of Springfield move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7066-0000, by adding the following:- “provided, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended for the academic learners and leaders initiative at Bay Path University in the town of Longmeadow, including costs related to programming, supplies, testing for COVID-19, student stipends and compensation for inability to work, staff, food and housing, to prepare recent high school graduates for college success, especially those from disadvantaged communities, and provide the recent high school graduates with transferable course credit.”;

And further amend the bill in said section 2, in said item 7066-0000, by striking out the figure “$3,502,288” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$3,652,288".
