Amendment #749 to H4000

Survivor Journeys

Representatives Ashe of Longmeadow and Puppolo of Springfield move to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 4513-1111, by adding at the end thereof the following:“ and provided further that not less than $100,000 be expended to Survivor Journeys for the creation of a virtual Cancer Survivorship Resource Center for Survivor Journeys, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in Springfield, to provide resources and support those in need in addition to maintaining the ability to service those who cannot travel to in-person programs or events.  Funds will support updating of website platform, training costs, website site platform consulting fees, hiring of Administrative Assistant and Health Science Librarian, speaker honorarium fees, translation costs to provide a Spanish speaking support group and marketing.”, and in said item striking out the figures “$3,628,657“and inserting in place thereof the figures “$3,728,657“.
