The Women’s Center in New Bedford

Representatives Cabral of New Bedford, Schmid of Westport, Markey of Dartmouth, Straus of Mattapoisett and Hendricks of New Bedford moves to amend the bill, in section 2, in item 4513-1130, in line 36, by inserting after “2022” the following: “provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended as a grant for The Women’s Center in the city of New Bedford to provide domestic violence and sexual assault prevention, education and counseling programs for adolescents and young adults in the city of New Bedford”.
