Amendment #779 to H4000

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame – Liberty, Justice and Ball

Representatives Ashe of Longmeadow, Finn of West Springfield, González of Springfield, Ramos of Springfield and Puppolo of Springfield move to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7008-0900, by adding at the end thereof the following " and provided further that not less than $300,000 be expended for "Hoop Hall Assists - We Care The Game Giving Back to the Community"  to provide a partnership between the Basketball Hall of Fame and Springfield College by creating a new podcast series, Liberty, Justice and Ball, which will explore the intersection of basketball and social justice, and in said item by striking out the figures "$5,163,175" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$5,463,175".
