Stow Public Water Supply PFAS Remediation

Ms. Hogan of Stow moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2200-0100, in line 14, by inserting after “responsibilities” the following: “provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended to the town of Stow for installing an Activated Carbon system for PFAS removal in the Town’s public buildings, in addition, updates will be made to control both chlorine residual in the distribution system and pH through a multi-function continuous analyzer, not withstanding any regulation, statute, or other law to the contrary” and in said item by striking out the figures “$33,124,358” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$33,224,358”.
