Pilot Substance Use Diversion Program

Mr. Murphy of Weymouth moves to amend the bill, in section 2, in item 4512-0200, in line 11 by inserting after "system" the following: “provided further, that not less than $5,200,000 shall be expended for the Norfolk County Sheriff’s office to administer a 2 year pilot substance use diversion program to provide treatment, counseling, recovery coaching and job training for those affected by substance use disorder.”; and in said by striking out the figures "160,134,092" and inserting in place thereof the figures "165,334,092".
