Amendment #893 to H4000

Environmental Police

Mr. Day of Stoneham moves to amend the bill, in section 2, in item 2030-1000, by striking out the item and inserting in place thereof the following item:-

“2030-1000: For the operation of the office of environmental law enforcement; provided, that environmental police officers shall provide monitoring under the National Shellfish Sanitation Program; and provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for the payroll costs of officers performing directed patrols on property managed by the department of conservation and recreation...$13,087,787"
