Amendment #971 to H4000

EEC Economic Review Commission

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

"SECTION XXXX. Section 106 of chapter 227 of the acts of 2020 is hereby amended by inserting, in paragraph 4, after the words "economic development and emerging technologies,", the words:- "or their respective designees"; and further by inserting at the end of paragraph 7 the following words:- "Members may receive reimbursement for the reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their responsibilities as members of the commission, including travel expenses. The legislature shall furnish reasonable staff and other support for the work of the commission."; and further by striking out, in paragraph 8, the words "March 1, 2021" and inserting in place thereof the following words:- "December 31, 2021".
