Representatives Chan of Quincy, Wong of Saugus, Schmid of Westport, Mom of Lowell, Robinson of Framingham, Nguyen of Andover, Howard of Lowell and Uyterhoeven of Somerville move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 0640-0300, in line 31, by inserting after the words “policies, practices and opportunities” the following:- “; and prioritize no less than ten per cent of the grants be expended to entities that focus on one or more Asian ethnicity and conduct cultural events, cultural education or cultural performances and were adversely affected financially during the duration of the Governor’s Executive Order issued on March 15, 2020."
