Amendment #999 to H4000

Minority-Led Non-Profits

Representatives Chan of Quincy, González of Springfield, Wong of Saugus, Schmid of Westport, Mom of Lowell, Nguyen of Andover, Robinson of Framingham, Howard of Lowell and Uyterhoeven of Somerville move to amend the bill in item 7002-0040, in lines 6-8, by striking out the following: “non-profit community-based organizations for the purpose of providing technical assistance or training programs to businesses with not more than 20 employees” and inserting in place thereof the following: “non-profit community-based organizations, prioritizing minority led non-profit community-based organizations, for the purpose of providing technical assistance or training programs to businesses with not more than 10 employees”.
