Amendment #1000 to H4219

Judicial Wage Parity

Mr. Day of Stoneham moves to amend the bill by inserting after section 43 the following new sections:-

SECTION 43A.  Section 14 of Chapter 185 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the figure “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “90.00”.

SECTION 43B.  Section 9A of Chapter 185C of the General Laws as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition is hereby amended by striking out, in line 3, the figure “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “90.00”.

SECTION 43C. Section 22 of chapter 211 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 1, the figure, “$206,239” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $241,239.

SECTION 43D. Said section 22 of said chapter 211 is hereby further amended by striking out the figure “$200,984”, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $235,984.

SECTION 43E. Section 2 of chapter 211A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 1, the figure “$195,358” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $230,358.

SECTION 43F. Said section 2 of said chapter 211A, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 2, the figure “$190,087” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $225,087.

SECTION 43G.  Section 6 of Chapter 211A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 10, the figure “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “90.00”.

SECTION 43H. Section 4 of chapter 211B of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 3, the figure “$184,694” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $219,694.

SECTION 4EI. Said section 4 of said chapter 211B, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 5, the figure “$190,124” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $225,124.

SECTION 43J. Said section 4 of said chapter 211B, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 7, the figure “$195,628” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:-$230,628.

SECTION 43K.  Section 35A of Chapter 217 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the figure “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “90.00”.

SECTION 43L.  Section 53 of Chapter 218 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition is hereby amended by striking out, in line 9, the figure: “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “90.00”

SECTION 43M.  Section 58 of said Chapter 218 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 94, the figure “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “90.00”.

SECTION 43N.  Section 79 of said Chapter 218 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 2, the figure “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “90.00”

SECTION 43O.  Section 93 of Chapter 221 of the General Laws as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition is hereby amended by striking out in line 2 the figure “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “90.00”.

SECTION 43P.  The first paragraph of section 94 of Chapter 221 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2018 Official Edition is hereby amended by striking out, in line 11, the figure “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the following figure: “90.00”

SECTION 43Q.  The first paragraph of said section 94 of Chapter 221 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out in line 20 the figure “81.57” and inserting in place thereof the figure “90.00”

And moves to further amend the bill by inserting at the end thereof the following section:-

SECTION 76A. Sections 43A to 43Q, inclusive, shall take effect January 1, 2022.
