Agricultural Fair Economic Recovery Fund

Ms. Blais of Sunderland moves to amend the bill in SECTION 2A, in item 1599-3000, by inserting the following: “provided further, that not less than $5,000,000 shall be expended to the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture for an Agricultural Fair Economic Recovery Fund, provided further, that grants may be used for employee payroll and benefit costs, mortgage interest, rent, utilities and interest, other debt obligation or other expenses incurred during the COVID19 pandemic and in said item by striking out the figures “$50,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$55,000,000”.
