Water Quality in Springfield

Mr. Ramos of Springfield moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 1599-2032, by inserting after $100,000,000 the following:- “; provided further that not less than $4,500,000 shall be expended to the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission to aid in the completion of the York Street Pumping Station and River Crossing and Locust Street Transfer Pipe to reduce Combined Sewer Overflows and increase resiliency and for the West Parish Filters Clear Well and Backwash Pumping Station to aid in drinking water quality noncompliance and climate resiliency” with the corresponding increase in the final amount of the line item to reflect the requested amount.
