Amendment #495 to H4219

University of Massachusetts mitigation of financial impacts and mantiance costs

Mr. Rogers of Cambridge moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 1599-2037, by striking out in line 250 through 253:

“provided further, that not less than $30,000,000 shall be transferred to item 7100-0200 for the mitigation of the financial impacts of the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic and maintenance projects for the University of Massachusetts;”

and inserting in place thereof:

“provided further, that not less than $69,000,000 shall be transferred to item 7100-0200 for the mitigation of the financial impacts of the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic and maintenance projects for the University of Massachusetts;”

And further amending said item by striking out the figure at the end “265,000,000”and inserting in place thereof the figure:- “304,000,000”
