Amendment #527 to H4219

State Universities Campus Residential Housing Pilot Program

Mr. Rogers of Cambridge moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 1599-3002, by inserting after the words “infrastructure grants” in line 295 the following words:- ; "and provided further, that not less than $12,000,000 shall be expended for a two year pilot program for the state universities and community colleges to provide community college students residential opportunities in state university on campus housing, with an emphasis on support for under-represented students through subsidization of housing and food costs."

And further amend said item by striking out the figure at the end “$78,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure:- $90,000,000.
