Centralville Walkway

Mr. Golden of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2A, in item 1599-2030, by inserting after "prioritized" the following: "; provided further that no less than $500,000 shall be expended through CBA as fiscal agent, Lowell Litter Krewe would utilize these funds for the development of the Centralville Riverwalk and 110 corridor, between the Cox Bridge and the University Avenue Bridge, including creation of parking areas and pathways with accessibility of the area and its ease of use in mind, as well as removal of invasive plant species and restoration of native landscape. Additionally, these funds would be allocated to the administration for creation of volunteer opportunities, youth outreach programs, and community engagement to create a beautiful, usable, safe public space on a critical natural resource.   and in said item by striking out the figures "$25,000,000" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$25,500,000”.
