Mr. Lombardo of Billerica moves to amend the bill $75,000 for capital improvements for the Middlesex Canal Museum renovation. This funding would help with the Adaptive Reuse of a circa 1870 woolen store house into the new museum at 2 Old Elm. The Middlesex Canal was the first canal built for commercial use in the United States.
