Route One Vendor Fix

Mr. Barrows of Mansfield moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

SECTION X (a) Notwithstanding paragraph (2) of subsection (b) of section 7 of chapter 16 of the acts of 1999, as amended by section 4 of chapter 72 of the acts of 2000, the fiscal year 2021 licensing fee amount of $400,000 for parking spaces outside the economic development area established pursuant to said paragraph (2) of said subsection (b) of said section 7 of said chapter 16, as so amended, shall be amortized over a period of 4 years from fiscal years 2022 to 2025.

(b) The secretary of administration and finance shall determine the annual aggregate amount of the fee for parking spaces outside the economic development area to be collected pursuant to said paragraph (2) of said subsection (b) of said section 7, as so amended, for fiscal year 2022 to fiscal year 2025.  The amount shall be sufficient to collect annually an aggregate amount of up to $500,000 for fiscal year 2022 to fiscal year 2025, inclusive of the portion of the fiscal year 2021 amount to be amortized pursuant to subsection (a) of this section.
