Long COVID-19 Medical Costs

Mr. Vargas of Haverhill moves to amend the bill in section 2 by adding at the end thereof the following:

"1599-XXXXFor a reserve to extend financial support for medical costs associated with extended symptoms of COVID-19; provided, that the secretary of the executive office of health and human services shall administer these funds and promulgate regulate rules and regulations for this program; provided further, that only individuals with an annual income of not more than $150,000 are eligible for benefits through this program; provided further, that not more than $3,000 shall be expended per individual  …………  $7,000,000"
