One-time Payment for Lowest Income Households

Ms. Decker of Cambridge moves to amend the bill by adding the following new item:-

1599-XXXX For a reserve to support a one-time payment up to the monthly grant amount not including the rent allowance in addition to said monthly grant for very low-income households qualifying for the Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC) program pursuant to chapter 118 of the General Laws or  the Emergency Aid to Elders, Disabled and Children (EAEDC) program pursuant to chapter 117A of the General Laws; provided, that the secretary of administration and finance may authorize the transfer of funds from this account to other accounts to meet the projected costs ………………………..$28,700,000

Federal COVID-19 Response Fund ....................100%
