Amendment #828 to H4219

Pediatric Acute Care Mental Health

Ms. Malia of Boston moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 1599-2028, in line 119, after the word "training," by adding the following; "provided that not less than $2,500,000 shall be expended for rapid implementation of new pediatric acute care mental health beds, including but not limited to beds recently developed but have yet to be fully staffed, in order to minimize emergency boarding, with priority given to projects sited in communities disproportionately impacted by the pandemic or with disproportionately low access to mental health services, or projects targeting historically marginalized populations."
