Western Massachusetts Tourism Promotion

Mr. Finn of West Springfield moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 1599-2026, by inserting at the end thereof the following:-

“provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for the Greater Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau, Inc. to market and promote the Pioneer Valley of Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties in-state tourism and visits from the New York, New Jersey and the New England region with a focus on small and local businesses that have been adversely impacted by travel disruptions from the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic”
