The committee on Bills in the Third Reading, to whom were referred the Bill to amend the charter of the city of Holyoke (House, No. 4299) and Bill to amend the charter of the city of Holyoke (House, No. 4230), reports recommending that the same be consolidated and amended by substitution of the accompanying bill (House, No. 4501), and that when so amended the same will be correctly drawn.

An Act amending the charter of the city of Holyoke.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
 

SECTION 1. Section 45 of chapter 438 of the acts of 1896 is hereby amended by inserting after the word “schools” the following words:- , city solicitor and superintendent of public works.

SECTION 2. Section 46 of said chapter 438 is hereby amended by inserting after the word “schools“ the following words: - , city solicitor and superintendent of public works.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
