Ms. Gouveia of Acton moves to amend the bill In Section 2A, in line 20, by inserting after the words “geographic equity;” the words “provided further that not less than $10,000,000 shall be expended for a multilingual communications outreach plan to disseminate information in the top ten most frequently spoken languages in the state through print, radio, digital, and television media to inform the public about: (i) the purpose and public health benefits of frequent rapid antigen testing; (ii) where and how to access free tests; (iii) how to use rapid tests at home, in schools, in workplaces, and in other settings; and (iv) what to do if the test result is positive;”.
