Bulk purchasing of rapid tests authorized for use in other countries

Ms. Decker of Cambridge moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

SECTION XXXX. The department of public health shall investigate the feasibility and benefits, including but not limited to cost savings and increased access, of additional bulk purchasing of rapid antigen tests that have been authorized for use  in other countries, such as the European Union, in addition to the  tests that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration under emergency use authorization for medical diagnostic testing.
