Amendment #6 to H4359

Opinion of the Justices

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Ferguson of Holden, Frost of Auburn, Gifford of Wareham, Barrows of Mansfield and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill, as amended, by adding the following new section:-

"SECTION X. The House of Representatives shall request an opinion of the Honorable Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court concerning whether or not the provisions of this act raise constitutional issues. The provisions of this act shall not take effect until such opinion has been returned."
