Amendment #39 to H4532

Access and Equity in Homelessness Prevention

Ms. Decker of Cambridge moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7004-9316 by inserting after the words “geographic equity” the following: 

“provided further, that any funds allocated to this item shall be made available to serve households that meet the eligibility criteria in place for this item or the companion Emergency Rental Assistance Program that were in place as of December 31, 2021; provided further, the department shall maximize benefits to eligible households by using benefit award criteria in place for this item and the Emergency Rental Assistance Program as of December 31, 2021; and provided further, that any unexpended funds appropriated for this item in fiscal year 2022 shall not revert but shall be made available for the purposes of this item in fiscal year 2023”
