STRIVE Forward Job-Readiness

Ms. Malia of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7003-0100, in line 7, by inserting after the word "sector" the following: "provided further that not less than $200,000 shall be expended for STRIVE FORWARD, an employment program that connects chronically unemployed adults with workforce training, case management and job placement"; and in said item by striking out the figures “$1,193,666” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$1,393,666”.
