Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 3000-3060, in line 40, by inserting after the words “not less than 30 days before the transfer” the following words:-

“; provided further, that if the department of early education and care determines that the available appropriation exceeds projected expenses, the commissioner shall transfer the amount that would otherwise be unspent by June 30, 2023 to item 3000-1045;”.
