Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 3000-4060, in line 20, by inserting after the words “payments to those providers for services related to this item rendered in fiscal year 2023” the following words:-

“provided further, that if the department of early education and care determines that the available appropriation exceeds projected expenses, the commissioner shall transfer the amount that would otherwise be unspent by June 30, 2023 to item 3000-1045;”.
