Amendment #1094 to H4700

Transitional Age Youth Services

Mr. Finn of West Springfield moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section: 

 

Section XX. “Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the secretary of administration and finance shall, not later than December 15, 2022, report to the house and senate committees on ways and means, and the joint committee on children, families, and persons with disabilities, the number of young adults as defined in section 21 of chapter 119, who are continuing to receive services from the department of children and families as set forth in subsection (f) of section 23 of chapter 119, by each area office of the department, and the total cost thereof, and recommend if such services should be funded through a separate and unique line item beginning in Fiscal Year 2024.”
