Mr. Tucker of Salem moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 8000-0655, by inserting after the words "technical assistance and program evaluation" the following words: “provided further that contracts for grantees can be awarded for periods up to 5 years;” and in said item by striking out the words “5 percent of the total appropriation in this item shall be used to provide administrative support to grantees, ” and inserting in place thereof the words “10 percent of the total appropriation in this item shall be used to provide administrative support and training to grantees and their partners.”
