Amendment #1165 to H4700

Revitalize Community Development Corporation

Representatives Ashe of Longmeadow, Puppolo of Springfield, Oliveira of Ludlow and Williams of Springfield move to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7004-0099, by adding the following “and provided further that not less than $250,000 shall, for the purpose of providing assistance to up to 25 low-income, underserved individuals residing in any municipality of the commonwealth be expended to Revitalize Community Development Corporation, a 501c3 non-profit organization that assists the elderly, veterans and low-income families in Gateway Cities in making critical improvements or repairs to their homes such as replacing leaking roofs, repairing or replacing the furnace or hot water heaters, pest management or environmental safety hazard assessments” and to further amend said item by striking out the figures “$8,811,761“and inserting in place thereof the figures “$ 9,061,761“.
