Amendment #1172 to H4700

River Hawk Scholars Academy

Mr. Mom of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7070-0065, by adding the following: “; and provided further that not less than $500,000 shall be expended for the UMass Lowell River Hawk Scholars Academy to support the expansion of the RHSA to continue to promote and meet the needs of first-generation college students at UMass Lowell and beyond”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$2,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$2,500,000”
