Enhancing, expanding and disseminating best ED boarding practices

Ms. Decker of Cambridge moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4513-2020, in line 89, by inserting after "staff" the following: "; provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended to any free-standing pediatric teaching hospital with an inpatient psychiatric care unit, a community-based acute treatment unit, an embedded psychiatric consult service, and an emergency psychiatric service to enhance, expand and disseminate best practice clinical models associated with treatment provided to children and adolescents while they are awaiting higher levels of psychiatric care"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$12,533,530" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$12,783,530"
