Prison Mitigation

Mr. Rogers of Norwood moves to amend the bill, in Section 2, in line item 8900-0001, by inserting at the end thereof:-

"provided further, that the department shall expend not less than $2,200,000 for municipalities hosting department of corrections facilities; provided however, no municipality hosting a department of corrections facility shall receive more than $800,000; and provided further, that no municipality hosting a department of corrections facility shall receive less than the amount allocated in item 8900-0001 of section 2 of chapter 68 of the acts of 2011 and any such allocation shall be the final allocation relating to MCI-Cedar Junction"
