Financial Literacy

Mr. Hunt of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 0610-0010, by inserting after "empowerment" the following: "; provided further, that up to $100,000 shall be provided as dollar for dollar matching funds to the Massachusetts Council for Economic Education to leverage a $100,000 donation from Next Gen Personal Finance for the purpose of providing stipends to public elementary, middle and high school educators who participate in personal finance focused professional development to be administered by the Council in coordination with the Office of Economic Empowerment"; and in said item by striking out the figures "726,701"” and inserting in place thereof the figures “826,701”.​
