Representatives Ramos of Springfield and Mom of Lowell moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 7008-1116, by inserting at the end thereof the following: “; provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be expended to FORGE to promote manufacturing and innovation in the Commonwealth, through their offices located in Springfield and Lowell, by supporting manufacturing readiness for startups and connecting them to Massachusetts-based manufacturers to promote local supply chains, post-pandemic job growth, and future resiliency;”
