Services over Sentencing

Ms. Miranda of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line 0340-0100, by inserting after "$68,000" the following:

"and provided further, that not less than an additional $400,000 shall be expended to the Suffolk County District Attorney' Office for pre-arraignment case management and recovery support services for court-involved persons in the Massachusetts Ave and Melnea Cass Blvd (“Mass and Cass”) section of Boston. The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and the Committee for Public Counsel Services shall report to the House and Senate Ways and Means Committees on the use of these funds............$400,000."
