Representatives Ferrante of Gloucester, Peisch of Wellesley, Hogan of Stow, Gregoire of Marlborough and Blais of Sunderland moves to amend the bill in section 2, after item 3000-7070 by adding a new item:-

"xxxx-xxxx For a statewide imagination library program that fosters higher levels of child literacy by providing books to children ages newborn to 5 years of age ......... $623,000"
