Mr. Cabral of New Bedford moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4003-0122, in line 26, by inserting after “services” the following: “and provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Immigrants’ Assistance Center, Inc. of New Bedford to provide citizenship education, citizenship application assistance, and an English language learners workforce readiness program for low-income adult immigrants in the city of New Bedford.”
