Seafood Industry Resiliency

Mr. Vieira of Falmouth moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2330-0100, by adding the following: "; provided that not less than $65,000 shall be expended to the Coonamessett Farm Foundation, Inc. to conduct a study identifying research and development objectives and funding mechanisms to enhance Massachusetts seafood industry resiliency, and that a final report shall be filed with the Division of Marine Fisheries; Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources, and Agriculture; and the Joint Committee on Telecommunications, Utilities and Energy; no later than March 2023; and in said item by striking out the figures "$8,178,813" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$8,243,813”.
