Amendment #288 to H4700

Emergency Paid Sick Leave Reporting Requirements

Mr. Cutler of Pembroke moves to amend the bill by adding the following two sections:

SECTION XXXX.  Section 10(k) of chapter 16 of the Acts of 2021 is hereby amended by adding at the end of the paragraph the following words:-

An additional report shall be filed with the clerks of the house of representatives and the senate and the joint committee on labor and workforce development not later than September 30, 2022.

SECTION XXXX. Section 1 of chapter 55 of the Acts of 2021 is hereby amended by inserting at the end of the second clause after the word “leave” the following words:-

; provided further that the executive office for administration and finance, or any department or agency thereof designated by the executive office, shall file a report with the clerks of the house of representatives and the senate and the joint committee on labor and workforce development not later than September 30, 2022, accounting for how the $500,000 was spent and what activities were done to promote awareness of the availability of COVID-19 Massachusetts emergency paid sick leave.
