Fentanyl Testing Pilot Program

Representatives Gouveia of Acton, Malia of Boston, Higgins of Leominster, Lipper-Garabedian of Melrose and Sena of Acton Moves to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 4512-0200, by inserting after "controlled substances" the following: “provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended for the expansion of a fentanyl drug testing harm reduction pilot program administered by the Department of Public Health; provided further, that services of said pilot program shall be prioritized in communities comprised of 20% or more of racial and ethnic minorities and to communities comprised of 20% or more of residents whose primary language is not English".
