Amendment #468 to H4700

Increase in the Estate Tax Threshold

Mr. Boldyga of Southwick moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"SECTION XXXX. Notwithstanding any general or special laws to the contrary, Section 2A of chapter 65C of the General Laws, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “commonwealth”, in line 3, the following: ';provided, however, that no tax shall be imposed on the transfer of an estate valued at or less than $2,000,000.'"
