Amendment #523 to H4700

Merrimack River Combined Sewer Overflow Reduction

Representatives Campbell of Methuen, Vargas of Haverhill, Moran of Lawrence, Minicucci of North Andover, Mirra of Georgetown, Nguyen of Andover and Devers of Lawrence move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2810-0122, by adding the following: “; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended to the Merrimack River Watershed Council for a regional approach to reducing combined sewer overflows in the Merrimack River”; and in said item by striking out the figures “100,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “200,000”.
